In the Chardon family, woodworking is a family affair. Indeed, Eric, Brice, and Damien are united by blood ties and a love of a job well done. At QUARTET, they've found a place that ticks all the boxes for them.

A Geneva-based family business

Carpentry in the Chardon family began with the uncle, Eric. After studying business and gaining experience in chemical products, he set up his own business in 2008 in the Grottes district, north of Geneva's Cornavin station.  

Soon after, one of his nephews – Damien – joins him. Then five years later, his brother Brice joins the duo, having completed his apprenticeship in carpentry. Together, they now mainly offer space-planning services to institutions in Geneva. Located in the Charmilles district for 3 years now, they were the first to move into QUARTET. Little by little, they have seen all the other tenants arrive, bringing with them a lively buzz. 

This range of business activities has truly prompted its tenants to build ties between each other – the best example of which is the fact that some tenants have used the services of Menuiseries Chardon! And in a variety of sectors and for a variety of business sizes, at that: in the watchmaking sector, for Olivier Vaucher, specialised in art dials; for MWH, specialists in heating and cooling ceilings, and – in the services sector – for HRS, a property services provider specialising in the development, planning, and realisation of properties and entire areas and sites. 

Perfectly adapted spaces

“QUARTET is perfect for our carpentry business” Brice and Damien are unanimous. First, in terms of its central location in relation to the other districts of Geneva. Second, for its ease of access, with the proximity of road links and the train station. And last but not least, because ground-level access makes it as easy as possible to load and unload vehicles. “We were looking for a place that was functional and practical, and that's what we found at QUARTET” say the two brothers.
